Refunds & Cancellations
This policy outlines the cancellation guidelines, duplicate payment protections, and refund turnaround timelines for VAYUTHON 2026 organized by GenMitra Innovations LLP.
General Non-Refundable Registration Policy
All squad entry passes and registrations for VAYUTHON 2026 are strictly non-refundable once confirmed and paid.
Immediately upon receiving registration confirmation, event organizers allocate dedicated physical seating desks, high-speed networking bandwidth, electrical drops, 24-hour catering arrangements, and mentorship slots for your squad. For this reason, voluntary cancellations, member dropouts, inability to travel, or failure to attend on-site (no-shows) cannot be refunded or credited.
Duplicate Payments & Overcharge Protection
In the event that an applicant or squad lead was debited more than once for a single team registration due to gateway timeouts, network lag, or dual-capture on Razorpay / Cashfree:
- 100% Reversal: All duplicate or excess charges will be refunded in full without any administrative deduction.
- Prompt Processing: In most cases, payment aggregators reverse unconfirmed captures automatically within 24–48 hours. If an extra charge persists, notify our helpdesk with your payment reference numbers.
Refund Settlement Mode & Turnaround Time
All authorized refunds are remitted exclusively back to the original source of payment (the original UPI handle, debit/credit card, or net banking account from which the charge originated).
Team Member Substitution Permitted
If a squad member is unable to attend due to illness, examinations, or academic scheduling conflicts, you do not need to cancel your squad registration. Team leaders may update their team roster by adding or substituting a replacement student builder through the squad dashboard before the roster lock date.
Force Majeure & Event Rescheduling
If VAYUTHON is postponed due to force majeure, extreme weather, statutory governmental mandates, or campus administration directives, your registration will automatically carry forward to the rescheduled date. If a registered squad is unable to participate on the rescheduled dates, a full refund will be provided upon request.
