These Terms and Conditions govern participation in VAYUTHON 2026 and your use of services operated by GenMitra Innovations LLP. Please review these terms carefully prior to registering your squad.
About the Organization & Event
VAYUTHON is a national open-architecture hackathon and innovation competition organized and operated by GenMitra Innovations LLP ("GenMitra", "we", "us", or "our"), an Indian limited liability partnership. The competition invites student developers, hardware engineers, and researchers to design and deploy working hardware, robotics, and software solutions over an intensive 24-hour sprint.
Eligibility & Registration Requirements
- Student & Researcher Eligibility: Participants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, or research program at an accredited institution, or recent graduates from the Batch of 2024 onwards.
- Accurate Registration Data: You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information during squad creation and roster management. Impersonation or fraudulent credentials will result in immediate disqualification.
- Single Squad Rule: Each participant may belong to only one registered squad per edition. Dual registration across multiple squads is prohibited.
- Squad Size: Squads consist of 1 to 5 builders. Cross-college interdisciplinary teams are fully permitted.

Under the brand VAYUTHON, GenMitra Innovations LLP provides digital hackathon registration passes and physical event participation infrastructure:
- Immediate Digital Issuance: Electronic issuance of squad confirmation, QR entry credentials, and team dashboard access upon checkout.
- 24-Hour Campus & Network Access: On-site access to competition infrastructure at Chalapathi University with dedicated power stations and high-speed gigabit Wi-Fi.
- Hospitality & Refreshments: 24-hour food, beverages, snacks, and collaborative workspace amenities.
- Mentorship & Jury Review: Architectural review rounds by designated industry specialists and domain jury panels.
- Cryptographic Certification: Verifiable digital certificates of participation and merit for all attending team members.
Pricing in INR & Payment Gateway Terms
All fees for VAYUTHON registrations are denominated and billed strictly in Indian National Rupees (INR - ₹). The standard registration fee is ₹999 per squad, which covers up to 5 members with no per-person multiplication.
- Authorized Aggregators: Online transactions are processed securely via RBI-authorized payment aggregators (Razorpay / Cashfree).
- Supported Payment Modes: UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), RuPay/Visa/Mastercard debit and credit cards, and Net Banking across all major Indian banks.
- Gateway Processing Fees: Depending on the payment mode selected, nominal gateway convenience fees or applicable GST may be levied by the payment aggregator at checkout.
- Tax Invoices: Official digital receipts and tax invoices are issued immediately and available inside your squad portal.
100% Intellectual Property Ownership
Participants retain 100% ownership of all source code, software algorithms, hardware schematics, CAD files, and prototypes developed during VAYUTHON. GenMitra Innovations LLP claims zero equity, IP assignment, or commercial ownership over your creations. Participants grant GenMitra a non-exclusive license to display project titles, demo video summaries, and public repository links for promotional and archival purposes.
Code of Conduct & Anti-Plagiarism
VAYUTHON maintains an uncompromising standard of academic and technical integrity. Plagiarism, presentation of pre-existing commercial products as fresh work, tampering with network infrastructure, harassment, or disrespectful behavior toward mentors, staff, or fellow builders will result in immediate disqualification and campus removal.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or in connection with these terms or event participation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India.
